There's been so much on my mind lately and as I mentioned in the last post, I've been meaning to get it all down and just haven't had the time/ resources/ time/ time/ time. Yesterday I was on campus from 8:00am until 11:15pm except for about an hour. Sick. The crazy thing is that it's not even that big of a deal. I don't even think about it some days. I just go and go and go and go. Yesterday I had class, work, homework, a work meeting, lab, homework, a forum, more homework and then a workout...that was a lot of "work" words.... Thankfully, I really enjoy all my classes this semester! So even though there is a lot of work, it's enjoyable and I fell like I'm actually learning something useful, not just doing busywork (there's that work word again!)
So here's a few things I've been thinking about during the last month:
***Internship*** I need one. Like really. You have to do an internship in order to graduate. I can't decide if I want to do mine in January while taking online classes, have a full schedule spring semester and then just be done with school in July OR spread out my last few classes more evenly over two semesters, take a fun class or two and then do my internship in the fall. Both are good options, which is better?
***Mission*** Well, everyone is doing it, right?! I had the opportunity to actually be in the session of conference that President Monson made his big announcement. The old lady sitting in front of us gasped so loud, I may have chuckled to myself. So many people have asked me "Sooooooo....are you going to go now?!" I hate to break it to you all, but I turned 21 in August so this new information doesn't quite apply to me. Had I been 19 when they announced it, I would have gone in a heartbeat. But now is now and it's not two years ago. And now I'm not sure if it's what I'm supposed to do right now.
***Whitney and Alexis*** Oh I miss you both so much!!!!! I can't even describe how many days I've just sat wishing I had you both back living with me for another semester. But, alas, I know you've moved on to the real world and someday I'll be there too :)
***Work*** Work again, really?! Still loving my job! But I might have the opportunity to work somewhere else in the winter if I decide to stay in Rexburg. Why would I ever leave Admissions? Well, it's a job much more applicable to my major and would be great experience to put on a resume. Sadly, I just don't know if I can part with Admissions. I was planning on being there until the end of time...at least my time in Rexburg.
***Boys*** WHERE ARE YOU?
***Exercise*** (I almost put working out and then decided against it) Why is exercise so addicting? It just makes you feel SO GOOD. Last week I ran a mile in 7:40. Two days ago I ran four miles (not at a 7:40 pace haha) and tonight I am going to do a midnight 5k with a friend. I just want to go to the gym everyday and some days it is way too hard to find the time.
***Time Management*** Sometimes I'm really good at this. Other times, like right now, I'm not. I don't work until 11:00 today so I should have been at the library all morning studying for my two tests this weekend and completing some pretty major assignments/ projects. Instead, I did my hair, sent some emails and now I'm blogging.
***Christmas Music*** I will admit, when we woke up to five inches of snow yesterday, I put on the Elf Soundtrack to get ready to. It felt good. And I'm usually such a stickler on no Christmas anything until after Thanksgiving.....
***My life is so great*** Even though I complain and sometimes it sounds like I'm totally helpless and lost, I'm really not doing too bad. I'm on track to graduate with a Bachelor's degree before I'm 22. I have the world at my fingertips. I went to Peru and made it back alive. I have great friends, even though some are hundreds of miles away. It's going to be okay. And I promise to start blogging again.

Time Flies...
Argggggg. The past month and a half have been overwhelming. There's been so much I've wanted to blog about that I just haven't done any of it. It's too big of a task. Too much has happened. Here's a quick rundown of my life this semester...
- Laptop charger broke so I now live on library computers...part of the reason I don't blog is I feel guilty blogging while in the library...
- Got the second highest score on my kinesiology exam last week!!
- Went to General Conference
- Sewed a pillowcase and pair of pajama pants
- Stayed at the library way too late, way too many nights
- Ate too much chocolate
- Ran in the Temple to Temple Relay
- Had a Peruvian dinner
- I go Spanish Stadium Singing every Sunday now...it's good for my soul
- Went on a blind date
- Make peanut butter banana bread
- Still working in Admissions as a Coordinator and loving it
- It's starting to get cold out....
- Mailed in my absentee ballot for Mr. Mitt!
- Lost my ipod and had it found outside in the grass by the apartment maintenence man...what a blessing
- Watched the presidential debates
- Homework (have I mentioned that yet??)
- Working out not quite as often as I wish
- Slept on the couch because I didn't want to put my laundry away that was covering my bed
- Touched a one-day-old placenta in my women's health class
Sorry I couldn't make up my mind which tense the list should be in. It's late and I really don't have time to even be typing up this lame list.... maybe in the future I'll actually get around to posting pictures from these events...maybe

Mocktail 3.0
It was the best of times (first Friday of the semester), it was the worst of times (summer is now officially over) and it was Mocktail time. I feel like I've done an adequate job describing these in past semesters so if you're unfamiliar with it or you just want to check out old pictures click here.
And if you want pictures of this semester's bash, just keep scrolling down. (PS- I go to BYUI and have great friends. No alcoholic beverages were present at this party...and, if you look closely, most of the glasses are empty...we just carried them for fun)
You know I always bring the classiest treats. Top: Lemon cupcakes with strawberry frosting and a raspberry on top. Bottom, brownie bite with frosting and a mini Reese's cup on top.

And So It Begins!
What is beginning, you may ask? Well, school, for one. And, more importantly, late night blogging to avoid homework!! It's only the second day and I'm already procrastinating. Uggg. Here's what I've decided would be the perfect semester. Take 8 credits. Work 20 hours. Still play. It's a beautiful plan.
The problem with school is that there is too much to do in too little amount of time. I love my classes, I really do! I love everything I'm learning, even the hard stuff. But with six classes all fighting for my time, I can't give any of them the time they deserve and the time I want to give them. If I could take three classes instead, I would be a much happier girl. Sadly, they didn't design college like that and they want you to graduate in four years.
Here comes the second sad part of my story....I might be a super senior and take 4 1/2 years to graduate. Nothing is set in stone yet, I have to see what times classes are scheduled for in the spring, but it's a very real possibility that two classes I need to graduate will overlap times and I will have to extend one more semester. I was really hoping to be out of here in July, but seeing as I have no definite plans for the future, does it really matter if I graduate when I'm supposed to??? Oh life. Oh the possibilities.
Here's how the semester is shaping up.
Kinesiology- Practically the hardest class you take as a health science major
Health Appraisal and Prescription- I have to have a "client" to work out the entire semester
Health Promotion Methods- Lots of projects but no tests, that's a plus!
Women's Health- Probably more busy work...I think I already know most of the information.
Clothing Construction- This one is for fun :)
Pastry- DROPPED. It was going to be way too much stress for me to handle this semester. So I added a religion class in its place. This could be what sets me back another semester.
Okay, now I'm going to go act like a student and do some homework. I shall post about the new job at a later time. There will be lots of nights to procrastinate!

I Like Older Men...
That's not a bad thing, is it? What if they're MUCH older? Like, what is the age limit of appropriateness to have a little crush on? If it's a celebrity, that changes things, right? For the sake of this post, age and availability don't matter. Here's my list of celebrity crushes...in no particular order.
Richard Gere. He's a charmer. Runaway Bride. Pretty Woman. Chicago. I love them all.
Michael Caine. He's brilliant. The Prestige. Batman. Secondhand Lions. Just talk to me forever.
Zac Efron. Who doesn't like him? Hairspray. 17 Again. Charlie St. Cloud. He's a beautiful boy. If anyone's trying to get rid of a cardboard cutout of him, I'll take it.
Chris Pine. How could I forget about him!? Princess Diaries 2. Star Trek. He's my favorite to look at.
Well, that's all I have off the top of my head. This is not a normal thing for me to think about, so I guess I can add to it later if needs be. This is what I blog about when I have 24 hours to pack up my apartment, white glove it, move apartments, work 8 hours, and run 2 million errands. I promise I'll blog about important stuff sooner or later.

Cabin Fever
I was always so jealous when Brittany talked about spending the weekend with her family at their cabin in Utah. It sounded like a blast being able to just relax and get away from everything in the world for a few days. Well, my time has come! I had the honor of accepting an invitation to spend Labor Day weekend with Brittany and her family. It was my kind of vacation since it was traveling somewhere, but not having to be on-the-go constantly. I had time to watch a movie or two, read my book, play some board games, go on a walk and eat delicious food.
| We played LIFE...the original version. |

Pork and Potatoes
Who doesn't love a good home cooked meal? And when that meal is pork chops, homemade mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, you'd be crazy to turn it down. So goes my life Tuesday for dinner. My fabulous friends Hank and Cameron needed a nice air conditioned apartment to hang out at and they offered to come cook dinner if I'd loan mine. I was quite pleased to do so.
