Past birthday's have been fairly uneventful. I'm not complaining. I'm merely pointing out the fact that my parents never hired a clown or ponies to be there.
Last Friday I had a combined party with Alexis because her birthday was on the 16th. We did it at her house in Rigby. There was food & games and then we watched a movie on a big sheet outside.

Yesterday was quite the day though. And for good reason...I'm not a teenage anymore : ) Hip, hip hooray!!
I went in to work at 8:00 as usual. Have I mentioned I love my job and the people I work with? Well, they're awesome. I got a card and delicious chocolate bar PLUS my desk was decorated. I got so many birthday wishes from complete strangers! Some boys from Chicago even sang me happy birthday in Spanish.
To make work even better, Sarah made some yummy birthday treats! They are brownie bites. The ones on the left have cream cheese frosting and a raspberry fresh from her garden and the right has peanut butter frosting with a peanut butter cup slice on top.
Last night, Blake took me out to Cafe Rio in Idaho Falls. Here's where the funny story starts.... We parked the car at the temple to walk around the river and when we went back to the car at 11:30 to head home the gates to the temple had been locked...with his car inside. Long story short, a friend from Rexburg came to get us and we got home around 1:00 this morning and then Blake went back to IF around 9:00 to pick his car up. Thankfully it wasn't towed or anything!
My gift in the highest amount? Well I got two bars of chocolate, a bag of chocolate chips, and a brownie mix in the food category. My friends know me way too well.

All-in-all it was definitely an excellent birthday!
